MORE INFO:

Calling all basement producers, dice rollers and weekend warriors. Hobbyists and Professionals alike. Most importantly, borderline alcoholics and those completely over the edge. Let’s play a game. 

How it works: 

there will be a backline provided at bovine. Everybody pays 5$ to get in, including the musicians! The money is all added to the prize wheel. There are 35-50 prizes on the wheel. Every performance will be 3-4 songs. Afterwards the band will spin the wheel. One of the prizes is “JACKPOT” and you could win all the money, or, you could win 1 small T-shirt, half a warm beer or a single cigarette. Some prizes are better than others. 

The Wheel(s): 

For now it will be digital. We will need either a screen to use the Long Dog Projector (Tm), or will have to bring a flatscreen. Spinthewheel.io will be the host until we find out whether or not its worth it to finish construction of the flintstone wheel. There are themes, looks, accompanying audio for the themes, buzzers, and the possibility of wheel madness (different wheels for additional zaniness to maximize engagement) 

Host:

Chance Armstrong and Kurtis Dickson be the hosts until one of you pry the mic from our cold dead hands (or if you would like to host a night/cohost with one of us, just ask!). Also open to a house band and or showcase nights with less bands/more songs.   

In conclusion, I believe this night will be a good way to shake things up, encourage people to try new things/perform new covers and originals/give folks who don’t play the stage very often a  crack at a half full bovine. Who knows, maybe you play the worst set of your life, spin the wheel and walk away with 800$ all in the same night.
